Taney Parish Primary School
Taney Parish Primary School is a co-educational national school. It is also the parish school of the Church of Ireland parish of Taney, here in Dundrum.
There are 23 teachers and 417 pupils in Taney School in a double stream school with two classes at each level from Junior Infants to 6th Class. The school partakes in a wide range of activities including Green School and Active Flag activities - all of these can be seen in more detail on our website www.taneyschool.ie
The school is above all a happy school where pupils enjoy coming each morning - a caring community of adults and children, where each is valued for their own unique contribution and effort. Taney School has a long tradition of providing the widest range of opportunities for children from the arts to sport and crucially and centrally in the academic area.

Church of Ireland Review and Church Gazette The Church Review and The Church of Ireland Gazette are two publications which keep parishioners in touch with news in the Diocese and in the wider Church. The Review is published monthly and costs €40.00 per annum. The Gazette is also published monthly and costs €40.00 per annum. EMMA BLAIN APPOINTED EDITOR OF CHURCH OF IRELAND GAZETTE Emma was educated in Taney Parish Primary School, Wesley College, and University College Dublin where she obtained her MA in Politics. As a mother of two small children, and an elected County Councillor, Emma values the importance of community and in connecting our communities throughout the island. Emma recognises the historic and important role the Gazette has played in the Church of Ireland and is committed as editor to continue to inform, entertain, engage and connect readers and members of the Church of Ireland through the pages of the monthly magazine. Emma began her career in journalism with the Sunday Independent and Sunday Independent LIFE magazine and has contributed to many other publications as a freelance journalist, writing for The Herald, IMAGE Business and Irish Tatler among others. She is also experienced in online communications, having worked as Head of Digital for Fine Gael for many years through various election campaigns.
